We are born of Mother Earth, nurturer of the body. From the Earth we emerge and back to the Earth we return.
The Earth Element is symbolic of what is most dense in us, most slow to change.
If we can transcend the densely compacted realities of our external lives to a higher understanding and level of consciousness, we attain a state of humility. To be genuinely humble is to be loving and kind to all of life with no attachments or aversions.
